Freddy’s Custard and SteakBurgers has been growing rapidly since its inception in 2002. Freddy’s currently has over 300 locations in 30 states and even has locations in the Middle East. Known for their different take on quick service items, Freddy’s has been able to grow and develop a following because of their tasty burgers, French fries, and milkshakes. As for the physical real estate on which Freddy’s are normally located, they are highly visible locations on busy intersections. Freddy’s generally needs around 0.5 - 1 acre sites to operate their 4,000 square foot prototype restaurant with a drive thru. A 15 - 20 year term is to be expected with various different rent escalations built into the lease.
